This tour is highly advised if the aim of your trip is wildlife and luxury. For this tour, your international flight will land in the airport of Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar. From there, you will have a 4 hours road trip to reach Andasibe, One of the wildlife sanctuaries of the island. During the stay in the Andasibe rainforest, you will visit different parks and reserve where you can spot endemic species such as birds, lemurs, amphibian, reptiles, insects and plants... evolving in their natural habitat.
After the Andasibe stay, drive back to Antananarivo and fly to Anjajavy. The heavenly peninsula of Anjajavy is the perfect match of the luxury in the heart of nature. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to meet endemic birds and lemurs in the primary forest of Anjajavy. Many expeditions can also be done in Anjajavy according to your wants and needs: wild deserted coves, charming fishing hamlets, labyrinths of caves, etc ... After this rejuvenating trip, fly back to Antananarivo where you will take you international flight back home. Tour Plan
Day 1 Arrival in Antananarivo
Arrive at the international airport of Antananarivo. After immigration and customs formalities, proceed to money exchange then transfer to the hotel which is situated close to the airport.

Day 2 Antananarivo – Andasibe
Morning drive to the eastern part of Madagascar, to reach Andasibe or Perinet. After about 4 hours drive on the national road with stop on the way, arrive at destination by lunch time. Afternoon visit of the private park of Vakona where you will start the wildlife expeditions: spot lemurs, birds, crocodiles etc…followed by an evening walk to spot night active wildlife.

Day 3 Andasibe
After breakfast, day visit at Mantadia National Park.
The Park is home of an extraordinary animal diversity with many species: mammals, birds (many of them endemic), reptiles, among them the biggest chameleon of the island, leaf-tailed geckos, and amphibians...
Enjoy your Pic nic lunch. Afternoon continue the expedition.
Later on, return to the Lodge, then go on for another evening walk to spot night active wildlife.

Day 4 Andasibe - Antananarivo
This morning after breakfast, enjoy another expedition into the forest; walk to the National Park of Analamazaotra. This part of the forest, is very interesting due to its population of Indri lemurs which are the largest living lemurs and others species of fauna and flora. As you hike through the forests, search for indigenous plants and animals including Orchid plants. Many other lemur species inhabit the forest. These 810 hectares also holds a world record for numbers of frog species among rainforests. After the lunch, drive back to Tana. At arrival, drive straight to the hotel.

Day 5 Antananarivo - Anjajavy (07 :00 – 08 :30)
Early morning breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport and fly to Anjajavy peninsula by regular hotel’s flight (about 2 hours) situated in the north-west of the island. At arrival, transfer to the hotel and rest of the day at leisure.
This place is a real corner of paradise on a quite private area where you will have an incredible and peaceful stay which mix luxury and wildlife experience.

Day 6 to Day 8 Anjajavy
Days at leisure.
Possibility of many activities, visit of the Moramba bay, discover the mangroves to enjoy the incredible sunset and wildlife species, private excursion by boat, fishing, nautical activity such as snorkeling, kayak… That you may organize directly with hotel. Hotel will organize also many free activities, such us: snorkeling, paddle surfing, windsurfing, badminton, visit of neighboring village, walks in the forest, nocturne walk, etc ….

Day 9 Anjajavy – Antananarivo (09:00 – 11:00)
After breakfast, fly back to Tana. At arrival, transfer to the city center. Have lunch and then check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10 Antananarivo – Departure
Today you will have a morning city tour of Antananarivo, discover the upper city, some buildings dating the colonial period and the royal palace, then local markets. Have lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit at the handicraft market of La Digue, then back to the hotel for a day use of room to relax depending on your flight out schedule.
