This tour is the perfect combination of wildlife, luxury and unique landscape. For this tour, your international flight will land in the airport of Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar. From there, fly southern to reach Tulear city, then drive for about 4 hours to Arrive in Isalo, a part of dry deciduous forest. During the stay in the Isalo, go for expedition in the Isalo National Park and spot endemic species such as birds, lemurs, reptiles, insects and plants.

The following step is the drive back to Tuléar City, then a transfer to A fisherman village called Tsiandamba. A place where you will spend a breath-taking vacation. Stay there for 4 nightS and 3 days to enjoy free time on the beach with large range of activity proposed by the lodge. After that, transfer back to Tuléar, then fly to Antananarivo where you will take you international flight back home.

Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival in Antananarivo

Arrival at the international airport of Antananarivo. After police immigration and customs formalities, meet and greet with the guide. Proceed to money exchange then transfer to the hotel which is situated in the city center.

Day 2 Antananarivo – Toliara – Isalo

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport, then fly to the southern part of the island to reach the main city of Toliara. At arrival, have lunch at a local restaurant. Then leave Tulear and drive to Isalo national park, situated at about 250km, passing through typical landscape of the spiny desert including baobab trees and cactus plants, some Mahafaly tribe tombs (local people of the region) with their intriguing colorful aloalo stelae on the way. You will also be passing through famous local villages: Sakaraha and Ilakaka, best known for their mines of precious gems, especially Sapphire. Arrive at destination at the end of the day.

Day 3 Isalo

Today you will have a day expedition into the Isalo National Park. This is among the best and most visited park in Madagascar, with astonishing landscapes made of natural massive rock uniform dating from the Jurassic era, with a typical and amazing wildlife species.

The visit begins by a morning trekking into the park, then to the natural pool with picnic lunch.

Late in the afternoon, drive back to the lodge with a short stop at the sandstone window of Isalo to enjoy the sunset. A real post card that deserves the detour.

Day 4 Isalo – Tuléar - Tsiandamba

Leave Isalo in the morning and head on to Tulear, the main town of the south, passing through Ilakaka, famous for sapphires mines. Arrive in Tulear and have lunch there. After that, drive for about 3 hours to reach the fisherman village called Tsiandamba. At arrival, check in and relax.

Day 5, 6 and 7 Tsiandamba

Enjoy days at leisure relaxing or practicing water activities and relaxing activities proposed by the lodge.

Day 8 Tsiandamba - Ifaty

After breakfast, drive to another fisherman village called Ifaty. At arrival, check in then lunch. Have the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 9 Ifaty – Tulear - Antananarivo

Following your flight schedule, drive back to Tulear and transfer to the airport to take flight back to Antananarivo. At arrival, transfer to the hotel and relax.

Day 10 Antananarivo – Departure

Today you will have a morning of shopping in handicraft market, then, back to the hotel. Have lunch and dinner there before transfer to the airport to catch you flight back home.
