Tour Plan
Day 1 Antananarivo - Ambatomanga
Morning departure from Antananarivo to reach the commune of Ambatomanga.
The trip will be divided in two parts. In the first part, you will travel by car to a village called Minamiana. There will start the second part of the trip which leads you to discover the region by trekking. The walk stretches for about 7 km during which you will spot the typical landscape of the highlands, and also local population’s daily activities.
The hike will end at a village called Ibaka. From there, you will be transferred by car to your hotel where a scrumptious meal is waiting for you. After lunch, you can visit the famous dairies and cheese shop of Ambatomanga. In the evening, enjoy a folk show performed by the local population.

Day 2 Ambatomanga - Mantasoa
This second day, you will have a morning drive to Mantasoa (you will take a side road). The trip lasts about 2 hours at the outside (depending on the road condition). Upon arrival, you will visit the monuments of Jean Laborde who was a French diplomat and a great industrialist at the time of the Queen Ranavalona I. This man had incredibly marked the history of the town of Mantasoa. His most beautiful work was certainly the creation of the artificial lake which stretches for 2,000 hectares.
After the visits, you will be driven to your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 Mantasoa - Antananarivo
After breakfast, enjoy a last morning at leisure before taking the road back to Antananarivo.
